It's been a while since I received a record or a cd from Japan and if Japan sends something...it's always on a real high level. You maybe all know the Serial Killer Doomsters Church Of Misery (Southernlord Recordings)...yes?!...Ok, Tatsu and Takenori decided to do something psychedelic besides COM, so they made a side project called "Sonic Flower". Fantastic stuff!!! The music of Sonic Flower can be described as a mixture of Mountain, Karma To Burn,The Mystic Crew Of Clearlight and Cactus. There(I+(Bre not many groups who understand to enetertain without a vocalist and if you hear Sonic Flower you will know the difference between good and bad instrumental bands. These guys lay down some awesome tunes, full of great 70(I+(Bs vibes and powerloaded emotions. I highly recommend this CD to every Heavy, Space and Psychedelic fan.
